INSTRUCTIONS FOR TAKING FINGER PRINTS
Taking fingerprints is very easy to do.
You will be sent a kit which contains two amounts of impression putty. One white one blue.
Before you start make sure every one has clean dry hands and fingernails are trimmed short.
Carefully remove the white and blue putty from the containers and split the white putty in half, do the same with the blue putty.
Roll and fold a blue and white ball of putty together. The putty should be nice and smooth with no streaks.
At this stage the putty will start to harden, so keep distractions to a minimum.
Place the putty on a flat clean surface.
Push the index finger deeply into the putty and hold for approximately 10 seconds, until it doesn't feel as tacky.
Repeat with the other balls of putty.
Leave to harden for 5 minutes.
